It has 10x 36-369 zoom lens, fair 8.3 megapixels sensor instead of useless 12MP from A650 and fair price (abt. $280). In my opinion, this compact is closer to Canon's famous S5 IS. I think it is more durable, easy to use. They are both pretty much the same basic functionality. The SX is just cooler, and in my opinion better for the price.
